I would like to know if I can see Harry Potter this summer in Paris, France in English?

So I am going to France in July and I am a huge Potter fan. I usually see them all right at midnight when they come out, but I was wondering if anyone has seen Harry Potter or anything else in a french theater and if the french language was dubbed or just subbed over it.

It’s not a huge deal if I have to wait till I get home to go see it, but I was just curious in general how that works anyways…

Thanks to anyone who has any info!

Look for the following in the movie listings…

VO - version original (Original language with french subtitles)
VF - version française (dubbed into French)

    Enjoy!

    Yes, no problems at all.

In Paris, all the foreign movies keep theirs original languages, with French subtitles. You can check the language in front of the theaters with the mentions “VO” (means “version originale” >> original language) or VF (mean “version française” >> dubbed in French). In Paris, foreign movies with the VF mention are very rare.

Outside Paris, only big cities like Lyon, Lille, Toulouse or Marseille have cinemas where movies are in theirs original languages, but not all : you have to check before, it will be indicated at the ticket office.
